i have a samsung sp1604n drive and i have tried to install it into my xbox, it just pops the contact msoft screen?

i have the x-disk.92 and .93 also the slayers disc but of course they need a h/d to load from//

any help as ever gratefully recieved//

firstly check that your bios is one of the latest ones that supports drives > 137GB and also check the jumpers on your drive - try master and cable select

main thing is, the jumper settings, make sure its on cable select, also if its one of those drives from pc world, it should just slot in as is, but double check the jumper settings, and also make sure you have the latest bios, or an earlier one that is patched for LBA 48, good luck
