I got an xlite 2.2 chip but now it is asking for the bios, I've downloaded them but I cant seem to get the flash to work. I've searched the site and read the problems everyone else was having and still no luck.:furious: Been working on this for hours now, HELP!!

New to all this myself. Bought my Xbox yesterday.

Don't you just put the .bin file on a CDRW and turn on the xbox with it in the drive?

i've done that and I've even put in the dummy files so it can read off the cdrw. I had to go buys some of those, (who uses those anyway) and it still doesnt work.

give us the exact outline of your problem man..... you're just telling us it doesn't work. ok why?

Ok, I got the bios from mirc, I had to use x2bm to extend the file, and then I saved it. the instructions said to use nero to make a data disk and to burn it to cdrw (memorex Im using) and to put the disk in and it should load the bios and the xbox should reset. I also need to add dummy files since the file is so small. I used two tv show files that were 60 mb a piece and added it to the folder before I burned it to disk. When I put the disk in I either get no bios on the disk or I get cd rom lable new. I've been stuck on this for about 8 hours now and I've added and subtracted the movie files, renamed the bios and Im just plain stumped now.

the thing that pisses me off it that I know other people has this chip but aren't willing to help. I think I can get the dashboards on since I've done that before with the egnimah chip but I need the bios. Wobbles if you still need help with the dashboards email me.

i followed the instructions and I even rechecked my wires, it still doesn't work. All I get is cr drom label new. WTF

I finally got it work thanks to everyone especially devil man!. Also my problem (I think) was the fluff files, I was told to use some mp3's it worked like a dream. Thanks again to everyone
