Hey,
I was wondering what the best DVD-R is, it is just going to be used in DVD players. (Not PS2 etc)
It would be even better if you knew a good retailer in the UK.
Cheers.

Unbranded Ritek/Ridata or Traxdata is the best media overall so I would recommend any of those.

Ritek all the way, havent had a bad burn in months and I use quite alot.
Also, try getting discs from a computer fair, I managed to pick up a pack of 50 Ridata today which are quite hard to come now and they were only £43, that is about 86p per disc which is a bargain.

You won't have much of a choice eithin a week if the rumour I've heard today was true and I'm 95% certain it is.
Princo have been forbiden to sell their DVDR/W discs now in the UK due to the ever longlasting feud between them and Phillips who they owe millions to over the CDR royalties row.
I should find out tomorrow if this is 100% true.
