I've got a LCD screen on my GC for the kids to use, it's now decided to go black & white rather than colour. Has anybody got any ideas what is wrong or is the screen knackered???

you probably have a short in a cable somewhere. If the signal sent to your LCD is Svideo, and it has a shorted connection it can go black and white like that.
