I am getting a Panasonic E50 and will be wanting to use my DVD RAM discs on my computer but to do this I will need a drive that can read DVD RAM and also write CDr as I will only have 1 spare slot.
Can anyone recommened a good drive?

don't know if this will help but i have a MATSHITA drive that i bought from SVP a while ago and this one reads RAM perfectly - all you have to do is rename the NRO to VOB and create a new set of ifo's in IFOEDIT and Bob's your uncle

i use a matshita drive (cant remember the model number but it writes at 1x, though thats why i have a 106 but i'm getting off subject lol) to read the disks made by my dmr-e50 aswell. its great for recording tv shows like recess that you cant find in decent quality online

Get a panasonic one, there are a few, I have a e30 & i use a Lf d521 cause it accepts cartridges.
