ive just downloaded an avi, file of football factory and converted it to dvd format using main concept and tmpegenc dvd author. everything went surprisingly fine except for the fact that the mpeg file outputted by main concept is out of lip-sync, hence so is the final dvd copy.any ideas on how to sort the lip-sync bearing in mind its taken me a month to figure out how to re-encode an avi!? (need it in laymans terms!)

Did you extract the audio with virtual dub before encoding? Once extrated, use the extract wav file instead of the audio from the avi file.

Even extracting the audio through virtual dub and then encoding is not always perfect.

The best method i have seen so far is using
