WONDERED IF ANY1 COULD HELP ME, I HAVE A VCD PLAYER ON MY IMAC BUT THIS DOES NOT ALLOW MW TO PLAY SVCD'S.

HOW CAN I PLAY THESE ?

id like to know how to play svcds on a mac - i have an ibook withdvd drive and thought that maybe able to do it - no luck.....didnt even know windows media player existed for the mac.....almnost like a contradiction of terms...?

Alot of people can just use Quicktime to play the VCD. OPen quicktime and use the "open" to dig out the biggest file. Also a few players are available at http://www.versiontracker.com

Eft - he was asking about svcd not vcd. Svcd won't work w/ Quicktime. I can't even get vcd's to work on it either :hdspin: Here is a link for the windows media player:

Save urself some aggravation & get an Apex player. Hooks up to ur TV. Walmart carries them for around $75.oo & up
They play:
* Video: DVD, VCD, SVCD
* Audio: CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, Kodak Picture CD (JPEG)

You'll need to search the Hotline circuit for a Windows 6.3 media player for macintosh. The 6.3 version not 7.x. Don't ask me why, I didn't write the Divx player.
