you can use any dvdr, but its best to use the good quality one. i guess it depend on your laser, like mine, it's really crappy so most of my backup are on ritek. some of my pinco stop working, which suck

Yup Riteks are simply the best discs for the money. Pioneer are supposed to be good but they are so spendy that it isn't worth it when Riteks will do just as good of a job.
