What dye do they carry? There are several different programs that will do this for you but if you have DVD Decrypter that will be easy enough. Just pop a blank one in and open up DVD Decrypter and see what the manufacterer info. says. It's the dye on the disc that is important and not the brand name.

*EDIT* NM. What color is the dye on the back (ie light purple, dark purple) this method isn't 100% but it can help us narrow it down.

The dye on the back is light purple....but it is not as dark as the ritek discs i also use

Thanks jesterrace777 for helping me....did'nt know it was this hard to track down dye's and the manufacterer.

If it's light purple then I will hazzard a guess that it is Princo (or maybe Optodisc).

With thanks to jesterrace777 and lazzaa i downloaded the software for it to say

manufacterer (not present on disc)
As for the dye it is probably the cheapiest one they could use.

so in future i will only use well known brands and stay away from less known crap
