I never heard of medion, but I like what it has. I dont know about a laptop playing video games like halo, I dont think it will perform well cause of the monitor. LCD screens are not good for gaming, and for the life of me I cant think why, but I know there not good for gaming.

Hi there m8, Medion are very big in Germany. I am British living in germany and i have a medion 1.6ghz 256mb ram 20gb hdd, and ibought it for 600 euro's 8 month ago and it's great. The only thing is that the keyboard is in German but if you contact tech support/sales Dept they will put you in touch with the right people on getting an English ver key pad (£15)
Big thumbs up for Medion mate

Laptops in general aren't very good for gaming. The displays are LCD, small, and hard to see. Also the graphics on laptops are definitely not made for gaming, even though they've made great advances concerning that in the past couple of years. In addition, laptops have a tendency to overheat. Considering the cost, you'd be much better off spending that money on a new video card, motherboard, ect and staying home to play.

I have a Medion RDS car stereo - Absolutely solid construction, good sound (great bass response) and plays CDR/CD-RW without any problems what-so-ever.

My m8 has a wireless keyboard/mouse combo made by them - again solid construction and works perfectly.

Also heard good things about their PC graphic tablets.

They seem to be gaining a very good reputation outside of their native country for reliable, well made but low cost goods. They get my thumbs up.
