I am going to get a new printer tomorrow but would like some advice on which one to go for.

I am currently using a HP840c.

I print a lot of colour CD covers.

I want one with a better print quality and one which is a bit faster.

What I don't like about the HP is that it does not tell me what cartridge has run out. I also don't like the price of the cartridges for the amount of prints I get from them

Is an Epson, Canon, Lexmark a better bet?

I need some advice before tomorrow. I only want to spend up to £120 - £130 on one too.

Cheers

As far as I know the new hp's do tell you which cartridges are running out. Mine does (7350 photsmart). I dont like the amount of ink you get either, but I think everyone is going that route. I still think hp ha the better quality picture than anyone else, of cousre comparable to each other.

i know what you meant the price of HP inks are stupid for the 19ml of ink you get

this is their editors choice ATM
