I was recently in the market for a Hard Drive, and after reading heaps of reviews, I purchased a Samsung Spinpoint SP1213N 120GB PATA.

To say I'm impressed is an understatement.

This thing is so quiet, I sometimes check that it is on!

It's slightly on the heavy side, but it's also well built and feels rock solid.

The performance in speed was also noticeable, and the cost per gigabyte was excellent.

Top that off with a three year warranty, and that makes it no contest.

If you need a Hard Disk soon, don't overlook these.

Greetings, salutations, Happy Festivus, and kudos to all and sundry.http://server4.uploadit.org/files2/130104-BabyInso.jpg

*Footnote* At the time when I bought it, it was AUS$174 with a three year warranty.

where is the cheapest place to get them. Also does it beat the .50 cents a gig that I just paid for a Seagate 200gig Barracuda? Thanks

I wouldn't trust much with a Seagate HD. I've had Two die on me within a year and a half. Insomniac, where did you find that HD at?
