I have tried using the teac reader and samsung writer in my other system to do back ups of my karaoke discs and it works no probs using Alcohol 120%.I knew the teac read cdg but never been able to write them on the Samsung only on my Plextor writer. So all the fuss of writers seems to not matter when using certain software you can still do your cdg even though you may not have a compatible writer.Been trying to get cdrwin and cloncd to recognise my plex cd rom but wouldn't so tried this software and works fine.See this dumb blonde does work hard.
Well bottle reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyy but hey it works well

well you most likely can use your pioneer 105.It doesnt have to be a cdg compatible writer try out the software.Like i say i tried it with my samsung and it worked no probs. And that doesnt read or write cdg with cdrwin or clone so guess some softwares are better than others enabling you to do alot more than your writers spec says. And yes dvd writers work too with this software.

Discjuggler is best for doing straight disc copies.
CDRwin will write bins to the Liteons no problem ( although it shows CDG unsupported in the backup disc window ). So you should try it with the Samsung drive.
