going to buy a new motherboard soon any recomendations at the moment i`ve got a 1.6 amd athlon processor this will have to do but i want something that will be ok for my proseccor now but work with a amd athlon 2.5 to 3.00 ghz ( if they do a 3) athlon any help would be appreciated

any of the boards using hte Nforce2 chipset would meet your needs.

Also this has been discussed REALLY frequently in Co-op so you might learn a lot by searching through this forum and reading some of the (quite lengthy) threads.

agree with Virgin San. :)

to add my usual 2 cents to this subject ... Asus, AOpen, and Abit are my fav mobo manufacturers, both for reliability and features. Gigabyte also gets an honorable mention. ;)
