ok so ive got the videos folder, put divx files in it, can play them in XBMP2.4, get sound but no pic!

get menu up and vid is playing fine in the thumbnail in the bottom left corner. in screen calibration the vid is playin but as soon as i go back to the main picture screen i just get black- dark purple flickering.

any1 got any answers.

currently connected via the the composite vid-l-r wires to the front of my TV. could this be the problem?

some divx are encoded differently than others. make sure you have the newest updates for your xbmp. also get xbmc so you can switch between the 2 apps. I've found that xbmc is buggy but plays alot of stuff that the xbmp wouldn't.

how big is the app? how do i install it?
can't get it at work asthesites are all blocked, and my dial up exchange is cr*p and connects at 30k :-(
