Hi guys, got a budget of around £50 just wana start playing some games, ive got £50 ish lookin for an OK card

ne one shed some light on any? not a clue!!!

A good budget card at the moment would be the 128MB Radeon 9600 Pro that is about $130 USD. The non-Pro is about $85 USD.

edit: jee wizz you over in the USA must get mega cheap cards then, as those cards are basically what you stated but in £££!!! they are a little over budget for me

what about these geforce 4 cards? are those any good?

GeForce4 cards are also OK but they do not support DirectX 9.x, FYI. The FX5600 is also a good DX9 card even though it's not as good as the Radeon 9600.

the GF4 Ti4200 is a good card too , but hard to find them cheap now
