lancerx Jan 19, 2004, 04:19 PM it won't read any of .zip neo geo files, i got the roms folder in e: root then i tried at the kawa-x directory too and no way that can read my games, i rescan and tried everything, i heard that the ini file has a bug so i can do anything to point the folder, i don't know what to do?
thanks
patondeez Jan 19, 2004, 05:42 PM i dono its weird, i put 400 roms in the folder it was pointed to, and it was only able to read 2 or 3 of them
lancerx Jan 19, 2004, 06:15 PM do this, press the white botton while choosing the neogeo emu, the games must be at kawax roms directory, it showed the games, but..... i could not load any.
lancerx Jan 19, 2004, 07:52 PM now i have a couple of questions:
i have just read a lot of post concerning about this emu, first it couldn't read the roms, now it does, then i couldn't launch any game so i got the neogeo.zip bios in the roms folder so now it does, but, why can't kawa-x neogeo launch all games? i mean, some can and some others won't launch it, why?
what's the meaning of cps1 and cps2?
thanks
Devil-Man Jan 19, 2004, 10:22 PM cps1 and cps2 are actually different systems sortof. different roms and games anyways...
as for stuff not loading, that's beyond me, i just put my roms in the folder and they all show up and play fine from dvd. not tried hard drive.
lancerx Jan 20, 2004, 06:52 AM i have been reading a lot of post, meybe this can help some people, download romcenter and install it in your pc (google with it), get the .dat file that comes with kawax and put it in the datas directory of your romcenter (c:/romcenter/datas/) then point romcenter to where your roms are in your hdd, it will give some info about your roms and if necessary it will fix them, normally the ones that don't run are because of bad name, if any doubt still read the help file of romcenter.
