b4 and after installing a new 120gb hdd, this is what am i going to do, please i need your advice.

1- back up c&e to my pc hdd
2- unlock 8gb hdd
3- swap hdd
4- use slayer 2.5 and format new hdd
5- ftp c&e to new hdd
6- lock new hdd with config magic.

are this all steps right? or do i miss something?

Yeah sounds about right, before you use slayers you might want to unpack the iso with isobuster or whatever you might use and check the evox.ini settings. Other than that you should have no problems.

yeah, i'd check the settings in the ini to suite my ftp needs. other than that, your steps are spot on bro :tup:

Your INI will change if you use Slayer. Also check if your creating/formating the correct partiation. I think "F:" is used instead of "E:" with large HDD- please correct me if I am wrong.

please i need to know about this? does it really change F for E? (i mean, that's not a big deal), does formatting with slayer will recognize the large drive?, this is what i was worry about.

It has an option to format F: for you, which is the option you want. Basically it will create the F: drive.

but it doesn't swap your e and f drives at all. e is a standard xbox partition and with a chip disabled it wouldn't even boot stock without that e: drive (not to mention no games would save or anything at all like that) useless info i know, but just an fyi hehe.

ok guys, everything went fine, it only took me 1/2 hour to change the hdd and lock it, amazing, 120gb, now i'm installing live, thanks guys, i really aprecciate all your help, devil man, menphis, pepsik...., next step, to install an usb port to run Win ce and linux with a keyboard.
