Does this have some sort of new copy protection? I was trying to rip with dvd shrink and dvd decryptor and both crashed after 2 minutes of operation. It seemed to have nuked my system into restarting every attempt I tired on it. Just wondering if anyone has had any problems?

Which region is it? I backed it up (Region 1) without a hitch. I used DVD Shrink in re-author mode and then burned it with Recordnow Max. Also which version of DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter are you using? The restart issue sounds like one of the faults found in the early V3.1 release.

Maybe cause i'm using dvd shrink 2.3. Don't know what version of dvd decryptor it's about 8 months old.

Try the latest 3.1 release. It is well worth the upgrade as it gives you a bunch of cool extra features, namely a deep analysis option which takes longer but makes a noticeable improvement in the quality of the film itself. Your version of DVD Decrypter is also definitely due for an update. This should probably fix your problem. ;)
