I'd go around and listen and buy the ones that sound the best to you for your budget. Were you thinking of gettign a surround sound amp. You'll need one if you're DvD does not have 5.1 outputs. If your player does then you'll need active speakers. dean023 Jan 23, 2004, 05:26 PM richer sounds do many good products and always good prices just bought panasonic amp for £150.00 speakers with sub start from £80 upwards depending on what you want i bought eltax speakers which has produced a wicked sound best money spent for ages dvds sound awesome! Offcourse it's personal, that's why this forum is titled "Consumer Opinion", not "Consumer Fact". DazJilly Jan 24, 2004, 06:42 PM hey tj69 - Dixons were doing a 5.1 surround system, packard bell for 80quid!! digital decoder and sounds great. check it out~~! DELTA Jan 26, 2004, 03:27 PM Yamaha AV Package 25 i paid £200. so shop around . and i hope you have thick walls.... http://www.unbeatable.co.uk/CatalogueItem_13494.html TierraDelFuego Jan 27, 2004, 04:16 AM Just bought a fortnight ago. Richersounds - Limit HC40(think that's the model) Subwoofer with built in amp, centre and 4 satellite speakers for £120. Very nice sound, good looking(in comparison to me) and good price if you'd prefer to dabble in home cinema for a few years before going the whole hog and getting seperates. Cheers, T |
