Just got a pinncle studio card and v7 software off ebay, thing is I can only transfer my videos to vcd, am I missing something with not bieng able to put on a dvdr or do I need additional software?

That's a dirty trick that they do with some cards. I assume that the software came with the Card? You might have to purchase an upgrade to get DVDs. I had to do this with Nero Vision Xpress when I got it because the basic version would only do VCD or SVCD. (One of the many reasons why I don't like Nero).

its a pinnacle studio dc10+ , surley this card and the v7 software allows me to transfer analogue video to dvdr as it seems quite a popular solution(dont know wether v8 software allows transfer to dvdr)

If I cant put the video to dvdr using this popular card with the software provided it should be dead in the water in this age of dvdr.


TBH I dont thkink v8 offers any benefits for analogue transfer to dvdr than v7.

like I say its off ebay so maybe i'm missing some documentation that explains dvdr transfer.
