Hi,I have brought a Dell laptop and I still wanted a dvd burner so I brought a 106 ina external hub (usb 2.0) Im useing the stomp record now max softeware and when i go in to wizard to copy disc to disc it has the 106 as the reader and when i change it for the internal laptop reader its ok .I then click next and it says put blank disc in writer and it then clicks open the laptop drive!I cant change it.
Also in my computer its says dvd writer but when i put a blank in it it changes to cd rom,Can anyone tell me if im not doing something right or if i need to add drivers of somekind??

Okay first of all, I don't recommend using the wizard with Recordnow Max. Second, have you checked the "Make a Temporary Image to HD" box?

All I have is the cd rewriter/dvd rom drive internal in the laptop and the 106 in the external hub.
