can anyone recomend a 8X dvd burner there are a lot on the market now and its very hard to choose between them

Might be some 8x +r ones.

Maybe that nice Plextor one but really, I don't know your computer specs, so?

its either the pioneer 107 or NEC ND2500a as their the only 2 on the market that support 8x at +r and -r

I gather there is a consignment of Ritek 8X +R media coming into the UK this weekend so at least there will now be some quality media to use on a burner as opposed to the CMC dye cr@p around.

Yup, we already have the 8x Riteks over here in the US. Not quite sure how good they are though.
