Hi all

I've just got a new OEM Pioneer 106 drive...

It will read and burn to 4x DVD-Rs with Ritek G04 dye, but it won't even recognise my 2x Arita DVD-RWs.

The RWs read and write fine in my friend's Pioneer 105.

Is there a problem with the drive? I have flashed it with the '2x hacked' firmware to try and solve the problem but it's still the same.

Try flashing it with the latest original firmware and see what happens.

that's what was on it before and it still had the problem, but i'll try it again and post back.
