First off sorry if this is the wrong place for this question.

Are Ritec discs the best, the reason I ask is I am having problems backing stuff up, they start off fine but then the pictures start breaking up or freezing, Ihave used two different computers but with the same outcome, first comp was

P3 800
512meg of ram
pioneer 106

second comp
p4 3-2
512meg ram
liteon dvd rewriter

I have used both nero and pinnacle software, am I just unlucky or am I doing something wrong?

Ritec discs are the best I have found for compatibility in standalone DVD players if you are just burning them for a PC then it shouldn't make too much diference.

Have you checked the discs (as per the sticky) to make sure the discs are what you think they are?
