-got a bunch of files for one game labled:

gen-vbx2.002
gen-vbx2.003
gen-vbx2.004
gen-vbx2.005
gen-vbx2.006

.
all the way up to gen-vbx2.028

gen-vbx2.nfo
gen-vbx2.sfv

-how do i burn this into a game? they don't have any real file extentions. please help. thanks in advance.

open the 001 file with winrar then extract the bin and cue files

When I go to burn a game, I generally get the same thing, but there is one that does not have any #'s after it at all. This is the one I use and I get a perfect backup everytime.
