Thanks to daveygilly in letting us know the Pacific 1002w from asda will play all cdg discs and very cheap under £40.
The dvd/tv combi AudioLogic model P1430 will also play cdg @ £149 from asda stores too.
Now cant compete with these prices for cdg playing Huh ?????
Been sitting with these both at home and never thought on trying lol but hey the spec dont mention cdg.

The above mentioned products also have audio out.

i got my kids dvd players for christmas and just noticed they to play cd+g and the good thing about this player that it has audio outputs for surround sound or the capability of hooking it up to a mixer/amp so this is a damm cheap karaoke player for newbie starters on the KJ circuit

Matrix DVD 5151 about £60 computer fairs 5.1 sound 2 mic inputs
Sumvision DVD 222B about £45 at computer fairs 5.1 sound 2 mic inputs
Akura DVD14s about £37 kwicksave no mic inputs
Dual dvd 857 (or similar numbers) £54 from asda ( the one in the black box)
all play CDG
