I have microsoft office xp installed and I have a small problem with microsoft word. When i click file the print option has dissappeared. I tried everything and couldnt get it back. So I uninstalled office and reinstalled it and its still missing!!! Please Help...

I've no idea but what the cure is but, just out of interest, does the print dialogue box appear when you press Ctrl+P?

Really don't want to insult tour intelligence but it may be a long shot.

When you click file, there isn't a little set of arrows at the bottom of the dropdown box is there? This is where less frequently used options hide.

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but sometimes the easiest most obvios solutions help.

A friend of mine had the disappearing print icon problem, I think he spent a good deal of time trying to find a solution before eventually reinstalling XP.

As certain members will tell you, a reinstall is NEVER necessary, the problem can be fixed - what they don't tell is that you could end up spending 50 hours or so fixing the problem .... ;)
