Hello. I am have a problem with my (other) pc.

It basically wont turn on. It started a while ago. It stopped working, even when I flicked the switch on the back (the O/I switch to start/stop the current). Then I flicked the same switch a couple of days later and it worked. But ever since, when I shutted it down, I could only turn it back on by flicking the switch on the back again (?) instead of using the button on the front.

Now I have move my computer to another house and it wont work again.

I desparately need this computer working asap. Does anyone have ANY idea what could be wrong?

Sorry if it doesn't make much sense!

Cheers

Mr Brainz

Hi

When you turn the PC on do you hear anything, like the fan?
Does the PC make any beeps?
If you hear nothing at all then it sounds like a problem with the power supply, either the power wires to the motherboard are loose or the power supply itself may have failed.

if you have moved your pc, you need to open it up and check that none of the components have come loose, especially the ram and gfx cards, re seat them and then try it

It SEEMS like the fan is TRYING to start, but it don't want to. I can sometimes feel it JUST going, then stopping again.

I will try pushin down all the components thou.

Thanks

Try a different power supply.

probably a bad earth on your psu causing a static build up.change the psu and see if that helps.
