I downloaded Kazaa Media Desktop this weekend, but i seem not to be able to actually install it. Every try I make an attempt, some window pops up telling me “We have detected a promen with your computer which is possibly caused by a current or previous installation of a ´non-certified´ Kazaa branded product. Would you like to to attempt to fix the problem?”

Yes I do… however it seems not capable of actually doing so. I did have both Kazaa++ and Kazaa Lite some time ago, but these were uninstalled. I cleaned the registery of any debris they could have left behind, but still KMD will not install.
Could this possibly be caused by SpyBot or my firewall (Norton Personal Firewall)?

How am i to fix this?

Greetings Daniel,

Don't use Kazaa, it's useless.

Try to find a copy of Kazaa lite or Kazaa ++ somewhere, or use Winmx or similar.

Because of the legal battle between Kazaa and Kazaa Lite, Kazaa probably has something new that checks for the installation of Kazaa Lite.

Until Kazaa finally shut them down Kazaa Lite is available at.............

I've used both recently and they worked fine.

I prefer K++ to lite.

Kazaa Resurection is the new Kazaa lite K++.

Yes, resurrecting from the Kazaa/Kazaa Lite split. I haven't seen the program in action though but it's supposed to be an updated version of v2.4.3 after the legal battle began.

Kazaa Resurection is just like the previous latest and greatest Kazaa Lite K++ 2.43 but on an updated Kazaa client.
