Help pleaseeeeeeeeee with nero image files
I have made 2 nero image files and want to put them on one dvd how can i do this please.Or is there any other software which nero images files can be used with to enable me to put the 2 images files on 1 dvd.
I have converted my cdg to dvd and i want to put 2 of these on 1 disc.

Any help appreciated.

try the dvd foum on here you may get more help there.i aint got a clue,dont use nero much.

sorry not really into cdg but take it the nero image, .nrg, is just a complilation of some sort. If so just use something like WinISO to extract the data and create one large ISO and then burn using something like DVDDecrypter.

That would work, unless I am missing something on the formatting of CDG's.

Sharon, I take it that you are burning a couple of cdg discs to dvd? Let us know how you get on cos I am chewing my nails to the elbows with this at the moment.

lol been at it for weeks hun lol
but manged to do a few so far takes roughly 4hrs up too now but still looking at easier ways lot of coasters but hey once i crack it it will be worth it.

Currently converting using cdg2vcd then using neoDvD plus to create menus etc and vob files then burn using nero had to use shrink Dvd cos the files wer so large and couldnt fit them all on dvd but after shrink burnt np.

I know i'm crazy but hey when i master this down to a quick easy way then it will make carriage alot easier and keep all happy..............lol

oops ps only managed to put 3 cdg on Dvd so far cos i wanted to have menus etc

done a couple on my panasonic dvd recorder.easy to do do.connected my pc to the dvd recorder through the tv out on my graphics card,and then connected the sound card to the dvd recorder.played individual tracks to dvd recorder and stopped after every track so as i could make a menu when done.piece of cake.panasonic dvd recorder from comet for 200 quid.

Have heard of that method before steve but can you surely you can't still use the menus or can you?

yes the dvd recorder has a function that allows you to make menus once you have all the tracks.once you have created the menu and finalized the disc and play it in the dvd player the menu pops up with all your tracks to play as you want.

Billhooks, thats far too simple!! Off now looking for a cheap dvd recorder, lol.

get a panasonic or sony m8 ,as these use dvd -r's and as you probably know these are cheaper ,and more copatible with most dvd players.

Well just converted from cdg2vcd. Then used tmpgenc dvd author ( Great proggy) Made menus etc converted video in 30 mins and took 4 mins to write so getting quicker now lol.This proggy has everything built in dvd writing etc so no need to keep changing proggy once file is ready write dialouge box appears and way to go ure ready to burn. this was the time for doing 2 cd+g combined to Dvd.

Will keep looking @ other options though but for now i have made this one in no time at all and menus etc are cool.


So guess you can put roughly 5 or 6 cdg on file and have great looking dvd at end of it worth having a bash Oxocubeman

Sharon, been out tonight so a bit blurred. Why dont you do a deatieled sheet of instructions for this, software used etc and post it?

Can actually get more than 6 cdg on dvd put 6 Ezh compilations on last night and still only used 1.6 gb of dvd so plenty of room for more.


Step 1: Use CDG2VCD to convert all discs u r gonna use for your compilation...............Takes roughly 20 mins per disc but i just ran 6 cdg2vcd boxes @ the one time thus converting all together.Took 1.30 hrs

Step2: Open up TMPGenc DVD Author and build new Dvd.Add mpg files you have created to first track source set up.Which will then create all your chapters for you.Just put in whatever pics for menu you want I used the Covers for the cdg ie: Ezh 9 front
Track = disc
Chapter is tracks on this disc.
Continue with step one Adding tracks however many you wanna put on to dvd.
Track 1 : will be the main disc Ie: ezh9 then in here you add your mpg files from Ezh9 and chapters are created.Edit as you wish.
Track 2 : will be Ezh 10.Just add mpg files now here
Track 3 and so on just keep adding as many tracks you wanna put on.

Once you have the amount of disc you want then just follow on and stat convertion which took me 1 hr for the entire compilation.

Step :3 Then a write cd dialouge box opens up and just burn as many as you want.
Burning time for me was 6 mins roughly so total time was roughly from start to finish for 6 cdg2 final dvd was around 2/3 hrs
End results is amazing I think so any how.
No need to alter anything this software does it all.
Will up it to wills server if any1 wants to try it out just trying to find link to step by step guide as my help files r all in with the software.

Just another thought now you could also have the option of converting about 20 cdg and then use dvd shrink to fit them all on 1 disc.Just a thought nothing is impossible i reckon after completeing 6 on to 1 dvd that with the ammount of writing space available for normal convertion you can fit aprox 10/12 onto dvd therefore if you create 20 use dvd shrink Hey Presto another option and what a space saver that would be.May try it over the weekend.

hi shaz ulead dvd workshop is a great prog for this i believe
i have some dvd karaoke with about 96 traks on each dvd menus and all, i didnt do them tho.

Tried ulead but found tmpgenc was better proggy all in one easy to follow so great for me can just put al together and let it run its self so greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat .
