Does anyone have a Time Sysem Recovery Pack that I can have a copy of for my six month old Time S3809 Powerstation computer system? Time Computers want £60 for one.

If you are in the Uk and the computer was directly bought from "TIME" and is still under warranty, by law they have to either supply you with the disc (giving fact that they didnt give you one in the first place) or make the machine to it's original state, however they dont have to do this if you have installed another operating system on top of their original one.

Sounds good to me, but where did you get this information so I can advise Time Computers accordingly?

Time still refuse to supply me with a Reload Disk free of charge. They are demanding £60 and I can't find anything written down anywhere that says they are obliged to provide me with one FOC.

Anybody have one I can have a copy of?

I've managed to get hold of a Time Reload CD from someone. On trying to explore the contents to see what is actually on it though, it doesn't show anything, although approximately 1.4 megabytes of disk space is used. No doubt Time have hidden the contents from view somehow. And how they can get away with charging £60 for a reload disk that contains just 1.4 mb of information is disgraceful. It's daylight robbery.

I'm now wondering how these things actually work. I assume they contain some kind of boot sequence that accesses the hidden partition on the hard drive, which in runs a format and reinstall sequence.

If this is the case though, then surely there must be a way to initiate this sequence without actually having the Reload Disk?

Can anyone shed any light on this?
