just attempted to upgrade my optorite dvdr's firmware,
halfway through process and error came up on flash software, advising to reboot due to error.

did this , now drive totallay dead, pc bios wont recongnise and I have to disconnect ide in order to get pc to boot.

I think its mashed, what do you lot think,
still under warranty though, but bought from pc fair, any ieas about how I could return to manufacturer or uk distributer, could be worth a try?

any help or advise, would be much appreciated.
