I am experiencing very slow speeds when burning on a program when i have other programs running.
I have a 107 with original firmware on an xp pro operating system. If i am running another program the disc will take 29 to 49 mins to burn, when they should be burning at 4 x(15 mins).
Can anyone help? I am suspecting a memory management problem, if anyone has any ideas email me josman_2003@yahoo.co.uk or post below.

Wat drive? what media? what firmware? need more info.

First of all you need to give us the specs on your machine. Also are you burning on the fly? My computer isn't the greatest so I shut down all other applications while burning. Anything else is just risking a coaster.

Have you checked that DMA is enabled on both IDE channels ?
