I am trying to find the way to get the best possible result onto DVD-R. I have my TIVO plugged into my computer with RCA cables and I'm trying to get a program 2hours and 45 minutes onto 1 DVD. I use my SONY Giga Video Recorder and try to export to MPEG2 but the file size is too big. I reduced the quality to Long Play and was able to get it to fit but the quality sucks and I'm only using 3 gigs of space on the disc. Anyone got any ideas for software or another way around to get better quality?
