When I try to burn DVDS my computer won't recognise media. I am running XP on my machine. I am using MYSonic burning program. I have been told that the type of DVD disc I use could be the problem. I am using DVD-R but have been told to use DVD+R. I don't know if this info is right. The brand of the burner is liteonit.

We need more info. What burner? What media? What jumper settings?

Also ... is this a new installation or have you been burning ok up until now ?

Does your burner support DVD-R media or just DVD+R media.

Not to be rude but simply repeating your first post with it's limited amount of info is not going to get you much help. If you don't know the info we need, then you are going to have to find out.

Did you remember to light the candle on the motherboard ? :D
