Was listening to radio thru real audio and was wondering if any of you clever lot knew how to record as a file what im listening to - tried sound recorder but it wont work as mike is needed .
any body? and thanks in advance .

Who's Mike?

Setting it to stereo mix instead of mic should work.

Otherwise something like StreamBox Ripper should do the job.

Yeah, I don't think that all cards support it.

I have the option to record from:
Stereo Mix
CD Player
Mic
Line In
Line In2
Aux
Aux2
S/PDIF In

Some maybe just hidden by default though.

Also, something like total record should allow you to do it on any sound card.
