Ok, call me stupid, but I need to know is there anyway to copy a Dvd to your Harddrive without a dvd drive?

Not unless you have a videocapture card of some kind and can hook up a standalone DVD Player up to your PC. Honestly though this would be more expensive than buying a DVD-ROM drive (not to mention a big hassle). You can pick up a nice 16x DVD-ROM drive for under $40 shipped from www.newegg.com or you can find a nice selection of reasonably priced DVD-ROM drives from www.blankdiscshop.co.uk or www.ebuyer.com if you are in the UK.

Or, if it's a one off .... you could network your PC to another PC that has a DVD_ROM drive, using a simple crossover cable (£6) and port the files across.
