dvd drive for laptop

Do i have to use a specific dvd rom drive for my laptop because i have a DELL LATITUDE CP m 233 XT and i dont know what dvd drive to use for it and im just wondering if i could use any kind

Dont think you can use any kind but you will probably find some drives that will fit a few laptops. Sorry I cant be anymore help.

does you laptop have a 32bit cardbus slot if so get any a usb2 card and external dvd drive done it a while back and worked fine
