I suggest an 5400RPM HDD unless you upgrade the fan (to 12v), which isn't hard to do. psibob84 Feb 26, 2004, 08:54 PM i had a 120 gig maxtor 7200rpm drive in my box for about 6 months before i could be bothered to replace the stock fan with a 80mm one running at 12v via a power splitter connected to the hd power supply, i have never had a problem with over heating, and my box i usually on half the day because i can not be arsed to turn it off Jago6 Feb 27, 2004, 10:10 PM Hello :) . Purchasing a 20-40 gigs for a xbox ? Dude go with way more space. Start @ 80 +. Then u'll really reap the benefits. U can learn something from everybody :). DarkArchon Feb 29, 2004, 05:27 PM Well I really don't need it. I'm just going to store games on it so 40 gigs is enough isn't it? donhay Mar 01, 2004, 03:33 AM I would suggest the bigger the better. I reckon you'd get 10 or 11 games on a 40 gig drive. Mate of mine has a 200 gig drive in his and 50 original games. Filling up nicely!! |
