Cheapest I can think of retail, is an Apex at Walmart that runs around $43 or so there.

Not sure what model number it is though.

well, the 10 dollar DIVX dvd player is here: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDnameid=3091&Search=Search&#comments

and the Apex dvd player from walmart is currently on sale to 29 bucks on my newspaper over here but it doesn't support divx playback :)

anyways, I didn't notice all of this dvd player that are compatible with playing divx avi video file!!! if I have taken notice of this already, then there is no need for me to buy a freaking X-Box just for using it Xbox media player to play my divx file which cost me 200 dollar!!! damn you bill!!!

There is a Lite-On Standalone that will play all of that but it runs about $100. I will see if I can't track it down for you. That Apex will definitely not play Divx files.

hmmm, I saw it somewhere recently. NewEgg?? TigerDirect?? One of the net shops I usually shop at anyway. Got some bad reviews but a ncie price for a DivX machine.
