Why is it that backup copys of DVD movies play on a no mod PS2 but backup copys of DVD PS2 games wont play?

because films dont have "proper" copy protection, just css which is useally cracked in the ripping process of making a dvd copy.

But even if css wasnt cracked it will still work.

also, ps2 games r pressed..
