wuzzup Feb 29, 2004, 09:37 PM ripping James Bond everything or nothing, I haven't had any problems with hardly any ps2 games but cant get this one to work got 2 coasters so far is there a patch needed for this game thanks SmokeDawg420 Feb 29, 2004, 11:32 PM You need cdloader to load it. robe0 Mar 19, 2004, 09:39 AM I burned the game successfully and it booted up no problem. I'm using swap magic 2.0 dvd with a no solder chip. However when the game goes to load the third stage, it just freezes. It almost sounds like the playstation is trying to load the dvd like it does at boot and realizes its a copy. Has anyone heard of disc ckecks in midgame or has anyone had this problem? Frustrated by gd EA.:furious: konga123 Mar 19, 2004, 06:21 PM yep Robe you have the nuked copy :( if you look at the release sites such as console-news you'll see that there was a new release I believe robe0 Mar 20, 2004, 06:49 PM That BLOWS! Is there anyway to differentiate an old release from a new release? Is this something EA is going to implement in their games moving forward? Would I still be having problems if I had an actual soldered bootchip rather than a no-solder and I was not using a boot cd? Please help, I need answers, this is outrageous! konga123 Mar 20, 2004, 06:52 PM it isn't a protection, it's caused by a bad rip (occasionaly the groups release bad rips) robe0 Mar 20, 2004, 06:54 PM Its not a rip. I burned it myself. I've never had anygame act like this before. You're saying that its a bad burn? konga123 Mar 20, 2004, 06:59 PM so it's on a DVD? robe0 Mar 20, 2004, 06:59 PM yes konga123 Mar 20, 2004, 07:01 PM that's interesting, not sure :( Rick123 Mar 21, 2004, 08:52 AM I burned a copy onto dvd-r and it works fine in my system. lvluvssv Mar 24, 2004, 10:18 PM I'm having trouble burning newer games such as lord of the rings return of king, Need for speed underground, and manhunt. I've burned other games successfully but these seem to give me trouble. I've also noticed that all three of these games have six or so Playstation holograms on the back side of the disk, is this a coincidence or is that the problem Borislav Mar 25, 2004, 08:39 PM Works fine on my moded ps2. straight backup gunga Mar 25, 2004, 08:58 PM From my experience the best way to copy a Playstation DVD of any game is to do it through the DVD burner. I have the Pioneer A06 burner and a Pioneer DVD-120. Everytime I try a backup with the dvd-rom and make an image to the harddisk and then burn it back I get a coaster. It just won't boot at all. By having the DVD disk read by the writer and burned back I get a bootable disk eveytime. I use the latest version of Alcohol 120% to make all of my backups. Another discovery I found is the new bond game Everything or Nothing has a protection against Gameshark 1.9. It will not boot with my ps2. I get a black screen everytime. Same goes for Resident Evil Outbreak Jap. With that game it freezes at the Now Loading Screen. I found a way around to boot both games properly with the memory card exploit found at swapmagicfix.com. Hope this helps.... PS2 Ver2 Neo 2.2 or 2.5 Gameshark 1.9 jessealaniz3 Mar 29, 2004, 01:45 AM 007 freezes on level 3 on dvd ?...DO YOU KNOW A CHEAT LEVEL?... msmonteal Apr 05, 2004, 06:02 PM Originally posted by robe0 I burned the game successfully and it booted up no problem.
