I have my original Gameshark 2 with the dongle. I cannot get it to work with my Messiah2 V9 PS2.

It gets to the Gameshark screen where it looks for codes on the dongle but then it hangs.

I have tried Gameshark 3.0 and it works fine (but I cant create any codes with it).

Anyone know why it's not working?

Older GS versions are not compatible with the new ps2 versions. Datel no longer makes the new GS, they make the action replay.

version 3 works fine though.

cuz datel doesnt make the gs anymore, it makes the action replay. So they got new code.
