Until yesterday I had a slayers installed evo-x setup on my xbox and it worked well. Now though, things have gone a bit......erm......strange!

I switched on this morning and the usual menu options (for media player, dvd-x, games etc.) have gone and even though evo-x still appears I only have options like ‘ms dashboard’, power off, reboot, settings and backup.
Its almost as if the evo-x install has been partly erased!?!

When I go into the settings it says the hard drive is locked and that my bios is “UNKNOWN” – what is this all about?

I have an executer lite 2.1 installed with the external disable switch if that is relevant.

Can anyone tell me what has happened?

A corrupt evox.ini, if you have a backup just ftp it over. Or reconfigure, it's a fluke that has happened to me a few times. It happened whenever I updated my evox dashboard version.
