What is your operating system, what is the message, is this a new installation, when do you get the error?

sorry man i know im fat are you? I have win 98 operating system and using a dell laptop CPx 500mhz 12 gb pIII and it comes up when i try to start the laptop and what sucks is that i paid 500 dollars and just wondering if you would help me. I mean i dont want to spend 500 dollars on something i can get to work very well

Have you tried reinstalling the OS if you do an install over the top of your existing one you can leave all your files intact and just reinstall the windows files

Either go in control panel and uninstall the dail up, then reboot and reinstall the dail up or go to Start/Run and type "Regedit" and then do a search for ndiswan.vxd and delete all references.
