View Full Version : who do i contact about getting my radeion card repaired under warrenty?

i bought a radeion 9600 off a guy on ebay,
he said it had 5 months warrenty left, however the card had developed a fault,

anyone know who i contact about the warrenty,

p.s the card is made by sapphire i tryed emailing sales@sapphiretech.co.uk but they said, You should go back to where you purchased the card and talk to them.

im not even sure this is the place i email about warrenty and repair?


anyone advize?

Have I read your post correctly. You purchased a video card that had developed a fault, WHY?. Unless you meant the card HAS developed a fault.

If you have the purchase receipt you should know where to send it. If you do not then you should also know where to throw it.

So you bought it from the guy on ebay who told you it has a 5 month warranty - did he send you the original receipt of purchase? Without it the warranty is meaningless because "returns" are done through the vendor in the first instance.

You could look up sapphires web and look into their returns policy, if you contact the right people they may help you - but to be honest without a receipt you are pretty much up the creek.
