I've now come across 2 movies where the menu for some reason comes up after the main movie. Although that is the way they meant it to be, it makes no sense to me. Why would I want chapter selection after I have already watched the movie? lol Anyway, could use some assistance on this and of course, I want to retain the integrity of the DVD structure. tia :)

bah, I should have figured this out sooner. Here it is for anyone with the same issue. I know this occurs on at least these 3 region 1 movies:

(1) Children of the Corn
(2) Raising Cain
(3) Sleepers (double-sided version)

Solution:

(1) Run IFOedit and open "VIDEO_TS.IFO"
(2) Select "VMGM_MAT" > "First Play PGC"
(3) In the bottom window, scroll down towards the bottom and highlight "1.Pre Command"
(4) Right-click "1.Pre Command" and select "Edit Command"
(5) Change the command to: "(JumpSS - VTSM) Jump to Titleset Menu)"
(6) Leave the first 2 values blank and change the last value to Menu (root)


Your root menu will now display first as it should instead of only at the end of the movie. :)
