Im about to rip Once Upon a Time in Mexico... I re-authored it so its just the movie - but there are a few different audio options. Naturally, I take out French and Spanish. But There is still English 5.1 , English 5.1, 2-ch English.

That wasnt a typo - there are 2 English 5.1's (both AC-3 ). What do I include?

Also, on a similar note....when just ripping the movie with no menu's - do you just include 1 audio choice (since the menu wont be available to choose audio setup)? Usually I will only include 5.1 (unless it's not a real action packed movie that doesnt need it, and i want better video).

on Once Upon A time.....i can fit as many audio choices as wish because the movie is just 3.2gb - and the audio is 347 (5.1), 297 (5.1), 148 (2 ch)148 (2ch)

If you can fit them all, keep them all. :)

First 5.1 is probably digital audio so that would be why there are 2 I'd think. 2 sets of 2-channel though?? One director's commentary?? I always rip that crap out. :D

ok- but lets say I keep just the movie - why keep 5.1 and AC3 2 CH? You wont be able to choose if there are no menus, correct? Shouldnt u just keep 1 of them?

You can change audio with the audio button on your remote. Same goes for subs, well ok, different button.

Sure you can choose ... hit the "audio" button (or similar) on your DVD remote. :)

I always rip out everything but the 5.1 ACS. If I try to go with any of the other audio channels, I will sometimes end up with no sound at all.
