jordie Mar 10, 2004, 05:53 PM I have downloaded a movie but all that is the folder is a bin and cue file, whats the easyies way to burn them to disk... Jordie 420 Mar 10, 2004, 06:35 PM Take your pick m8. You can burn with Nero, Alcohol 120%, DiscJuggler and a slew of other apps. :) twankster Mar 10, 2004, 08:58 PM Yep, most burning apps will do .bin / .cue files, just tell it to open an image file (you may have to use the drop down menu to be able to access bin/cue files). Load the cue and burn away :p Matrix_581 Mar 10, 2004, 09:02 PM You can also mount them with a virtual drive if you dont want to use a CDR but want to play/watch the game/film Bumble Mar 11, 2004, 05:26 AM Would this be the same principal for a ps2 game?... was going to ask in the ps2 forum, but seeing as the question appears the same, i thought i would be better posting here? Tried burn it with Nero 6 onto dvd, but just made myself a lovely set of matching coasters up to now :( steven_ogilvie Mar 11, 2004, 06:47 AM yes m8, its the same for any format of game, a set of bin/cue files is just the image recorded from cd for nero 6 you want to follow this recorder---> burn image then locate the .cue file and load that burn away Bumble Mar 11, 2004, 06:01 PM i tried that (many thanks for the help), and everything went fine until i was ready to click the burn icon. The bit (top left) where you select dvd or cd formats is stuck to cd and is grayed out although i can burn standard dvd's??? ANy idea how i can alter this at all please? I have the disc in and ready....tried different brands of disc and restarted the computer...no joy. jordie Mar 11, 2004, 06:34 PM Originally posted by steven_ogilvie yes m8, its the same for any format of game, a set of bin/cue files is just the image recorded from cd for nero 6 you want to follow this recorder---> burn image then locate the .cue file and load that burn away Will this then be a vcd? Jordie celtic_druid Mar 11, 2004, 07:00 PM Well is your image a VCD? The results will be whatever the image is. If you have a BIN/CUE of a VCD then when you burn it you will get a VCD. Also means you should have posted this in the VCD forum. 420 Mar 11, 2004, 09:58 PM Originally posted by Bumble i tried that (many thanks for the help), and everything went fine until i was ready to click the burn icon. Sounds like you have a slight problem. :D steven_ogilvie Mar 12, 2004, 07:59 AM from my experience the reason that, that box was greyed out because it was a CD image so it cant be burned to dvd discs Bumble Mar 12, 2004, 04:12 PM Thanks guys, will go to the ps2 forum with this, although i have tried burning it to a cd-r and to a dvd... no luck each time. Thanks for your help up to now anyway :) |
